Cluster of camps on each side of the river. Very steep right bank with a lot of erosion and bank undercut. Rip-rap on left bank in front of camp. There are two walking bridges and one ATV crossing at this site. Man-made rock dam at the last property.

Action Required:

The approach to a ford can be stabilized using clean crushed rock on top of a geotextile. Landowner education on the importance of maintaining an adequate buffer zone on their property and on the effects of man-made dams on rivers. The stream banks should be stabilized in order to slow down erosion and reduce sedimentation in the river.
