Issue:
Bridge built in 1997, constructed to standards. Lots of boulders around the bridge. Three water deflectors under the bridge. Residential area with properties on each side of the bridge. Rip-rap rocks, tall grass and shrubs on the banks around the culvert.
Action Required:
Landowner education on the importance of maintaining an adequate buffer zone on his property. Restore the buffer zone by planting shrubs or by letting nature take its course by leaving a strip of untouched vegetation along the stream.
