Issue:
Residential area with lawn up to the river bank. NB Ski-doo trail that crosses the brook upstream from residence. Ditch to watercourse and moderate erosion on left bank.
Action Required:
The approach to a ford can be stabilized using clean crushed rock on top of a geotextile. Landowner education on the importance of maintaining an adequate buffer zone on their property. The stream banks should be stabilized in order to slow down erosion and reduce sedimentation in the river.
