Issue:
Camps on waterfront with lots of short cut grass up to the shoreline. The left bank is eroded where the camps are located.
Action Required:
Landowner education on the importance of maintaining an adequate buffer zone on their property. The stream banks should be stabilized in order to slow down erosion and reduce sedimentation in the river. Restore the buffer zone by planting shrubs or by letting nature take its course by leaving a strip of untouched vegetation along the stream.
