Issue:
This section of the Grants brook has multiple cottages with a waterfront access. Short cut grass up to the river bank for most properties (with some trees left). Rip-rap rocks on the banks of one property.
Action Required:
Landowner education on the importance of maintaining an adequate buffer zone on their property. Restore the buffer zone by planting shrubs or by letting nature take its course by leaving a strip of untouched vegetation along the stream.
