Issue:

Next to route 134 is the Elm tree river estuary. There is also a municipal park, an old gas station, houses and marine algae in the water.

Action Required:

On the 18th of September 2014, the group partnered with the Maritime college of forest technology and planted 257 trees and shrubs along the estuary in order to reduce the amount of sediments in the water. Some balsam poplar were planted along with dogwood, hydrangea and potentilla.
